「遙かなる夢に ～Far Away～」(literally means "a far-away dream") was a Japanese version of the Cantonese pop song「海闊天空」written by BEYOND band. BEYOND was a Hong Kong rock band formed in 1983. The band is widely considered as the most successful and influential Cantopop band from Hong Kong. 「海闊天空」means "to pursue freedom without boundaries or limits". The song is an anthem of Cantonese rock music and one of BEYOND's signature songs. It has been adopted for several public events in Cantonese-speaking regions.
